russet's mind is more akin to a regular mortal, with more complex goals and wants. she is harmless compared to other demons, who are a nuisance and often kicked out of the metro when they sneak in.
russet is allowed into the metro, the first of demonkind ever to be accepted. it sparks controversy. she is the object of suspicion - what if she is just an evolved form of demon that has learned to mask her evil impulses?
after all, she still has to feed on lust. like any other sex demon. how could she be trusted?
she enters the university of magic, and the tale starts when a revered demigod of the god of light and demon-slaying sits next to her in class.
