backstory

They grew up in a cabin in the forest surrounding Ivarstead. Their parents gave them and their older brother alcohol from a young age, and
they didn't see it as uncommon. When they were young, their father succumbed to frostbite poison, and a few years later their brother died
protecting them from wolves. To cope with the devastating losses of her husband and son, their mother took to drinking. Not wanting to
upset their mother any more than she already was, Falkaan chose to grieve alone. After some time, they moved on. With their mother struggling
to keep afloat, responsibility fell on them to bring food to the table, mostly through hunting and odd jobs. As an older teen, they developed
a drinking habit, which carried into adulthood. They continued a career as a hunter for a couple of years, then began to feel tired of their life.
They left home to explore Tamriel, then found themselves dragged into drama relating to a dragon's attack on Helgen. They were sent to
creep through a dungeon, which led them to fighting the dragon that attacked in the first place. It was then that they discovered their hidden
abilities, and so their journey began.

• they own a modest farm outside of Rorikstead; it's a pleasant place, if you don't count the dragon attacks.
