Second of the Bila squad and twin to Jina, he was chosen by Lady Marzia to be the Bila of Strategy. Unlike his prodigy sister, Tharkhim’s never truly fit into any niche despite his chosen status. His power is to be able to neutralize and retain any powers of beings he comes in close contact with, but with powers so situational, he’s lived most of his life as a totally ordinary mortal.  So ordinary, in fact, that it took Jina’s outstanding influence for him to receive his job as private tutor to Princess Kaligma and later, the younger Bilas, Cillis and Toggentous. Now, he’s expected to read the rooms of councils and powerful beings to provide Jina even crumbs of intel for her efforts to win the war. Too kind-hearted for battle, but too eager to please Jina in whatever he calls her to do, he’s in way over his head. Though time and persistence has made him great at many things, he is never seen as a true MASTER. A jack of many trades, he’s easily overshadowed by the others in their team.
