Profile
-time heals many wounds if you allow them to heal-
A young woman with a heavy past. She lost her family in the time machine explosion years ago, and suffered burn scars that will enver fade. Homeless an all alone, she met a young boy in the orphanage, who becomes her dearest friend. She shares deep bond with Clive, going through the same dark times together does that to you. He means the world to her and with him she feels safe. Her scars leave her deeply hurt, a constant reminder of the past and people not wanting to adopt her because of these ugly reminders. She is very self conscious about them and part of her journey is realizing that something can be a part of yourself and you don't have to accept it, but live with it.
On her journey she gets to witness the beauty of life, but also the cruelty of reality.

A calm and collected young woman with a lovely, gentle voice you could listen to forever. However, she is more on the quiet side. She's a lady through and through and places great care into her looks and appearances. Sometimes, a bit too much. She tries to compensate for her scars by trying to be perfect.
Wheras Clive is more on the talking side, she is more on the reserved side. However, if you do notice her interest in repairnig antiques and clocks, she can talk for hours. Because despite her lady appearance, she can be quite the geek. The clock shop of her parents is her pride, and she helps out as much as she can.
Clive is her closest and dearest person in her life. Neither of them have anyone left after their parents died, and they grew very attached to each other. She would do anything for him.
Story
Subheader
unwound future, she poses as future Flora beside Future Luke. Naturally, she was very excited when she heard about the news of a scinetist working on a time machine. Perhaps they could bring back her parents and prevent that day from ever happening...

Trivia
- Her white gloves were a gift from Constance and she treasures them dearly.
- She loves sweet things very much. Pastries, cakes, biskuits... give her and she's in heaven. Yes, Clive loves to treat her.
- She very much enjoys her time with the Professor, Luke and Flora. perhaps a little too much. She easily grows attached. revealing herself as a fake, hurt her as much as it did them.
- She is not related to Flora (obviously). The hair streaks she has in her future Flora disguise are dyed. Plus her hair is naturally a lighter hue than Flora's
- Knows quite a lot about cooking and mechanical work. Spring and Cogg made sure she could live on her own. Clive should learn a thing or two from her.
- Her last name is indeed a pun on the flower marigold. Since Flora's name is flower themed, I continued the tradition with Mary. (I didn't notice before, but marigolds are also red and orange, so it fits even more with her color scheme, talk about lucky coincidences xD)
Relationships
She wouldn't know what to do without him.
The young girl, so new to the world and dreary by those around her leaving her. It hurts how close Flora's story feels to her own. Maybe that is why she feels so connected to her. Flora looks up greatly to Mary, she is respected by the Professor and the epitome of a lady. The truth has hurt her the most. Mary may have deceived them about her identity but what she told FLora was always true and kind.
He told her first that he had to move. Talking with her has helped ease his mind a lot. She always knows what to say when people feel unsure of themselves. She teases him sometimes, he needs it. They both bond over the toy car which Mary is almost as giddy about as he is.
She didn't grow very close to him at the beginnig of her adventure, but she admires deeply what he has achieved in his life. She was very careful around him at first since Clive had warned her of his great perceptiveness. However she learns that he is a very caring man deep down, and he helps her during the time Clice is gone, so much.
When everyone, even Mary herself, doubted herself, it was Claire that extended a helping hand and gave her a hug. She feels very close to how Mary remmeberes her mother and her depature has affected her deeply.
They adopted her after Constance adopted Clive. They love her dearly and she couldn't be happier with them.
