One of the two musicians behind the instrumentals of Up the Yardarm, Sipho is a mysterious and reserved music world veteran who worked in the industry many years before the formation of the band. He had released a multitude of mixtapes and produced several records before a sudden and abrupt pause to his career. Most thought he had retired or even disappeared before Aoife asked him if he was interested in returning to the scene. Similarly, Sipho is from the Latimeria clan - a culture that was believed to have been extinct for eons until their recent reintegration with the Greater Inkopolis Area’s economy a few decades ago. This led many Litmerians, including Sipho, to move into the city. Alongside his history with music production, Sipho plays multiple instruments, including the drums, guitar, and even a few members of the brass family. His interests outside of music include upcycling and yoyos.
