Bonbon is a cute little clown who hides their face behind a mask that represses the beast inside of them. They communicate with jingles and squeaks.
A very happy go lucky little guy, Bonbon loves nothing more than to fool around. They appear very childish and always up for brightening the mood. They are not a coward though, very willing to fight for their friends and are a little too willing to pull out a knife when it's not necessarily needed. They are someone who always means well.
Bonbon's beast form is corrupted and taken over by a strange entity, it appears long and shadowy with strange glowing green light. This creature holds Bonbon's voice captive and is the source of many nightmares.
TLDR: Backstory details
Bonbon’s earliest memories were being raised by a small circus troupe where they learned all of their skills as a clown. Travelling around and performing with this troupe were the happiest moments of their life. Unfortunately this troupe was very sought after by guards.
One day some guards found the troupe in the middle of a performance, attacking the tent and setting it on fire. The troupe had to run away otherwise they would be arrested. They all started to rush into their cart, climbing in while it was starting to run through the city. Bonbon, the last one, tried their best to reach for the troupe’s hands and jump into the cart, but slipped and was caught by the guards. They were left behind.
Instead of being arrested, Bonbon was given to the noble’s children as a gift. They were told that if they stepped out of line that they would be executed. Bonbon agreed to this, not wanting to be put into jail, and served at the noble’s house for a few years.
At the birthday party for one of the noble’s children, many kids were invited which Bonbon was skilled with the task of entertaining. Many of these kids liked Bonbon and were all having a great time, though while Bonbon was having a small rest they started pulling them around rather violently after wanting Bonbon to themselves. The horde of children managed to pull Bonbon’s mask off, which released the terrifying beast from inside of them. As a result the kids all screamed in fear and ran away as the room was completely trashed.
Bonbon, once recovered after the short outburst, realised what had happened. Guilt and regret caused them to panic. They ran from the guards and out of the city as far as they could, not knowing at all where they were going.
