ABOUT
Salmon fish kitty hybrid thing. Average lifespan 20-25 years. Name is Juniper, pronouns are he/him. Lives in the rainforest in a little hut. Overall huge animal fan and is a marine biologist who is currently working with and studying crawfish and crabs. He keeps an axolotl as a pet that he rescued. He prefers to eat smaller prey animals but will have a fruit or two occasionally. He grows some of his own food which he often trades for other things. He collects crystals and gemstones. He enjoys reading fantasy novels in his spare time. He prefers lighter pastel colors and deep browns, but his favorite color is pale blue. He loves summer and spring as he enjoys watching the world come back to life during spring and the warmth of summer. He dislikes the winter since it is so cold and he often stays in the rainforest during the winter. He hates the dark as it reminds him of losing his parents, so he keeps fireflies in jars. He dislikes dry environments as it dries his tail out. He dislikes most bugs but absolutely hates centipedes. He dislikes most smells but especially dislikes the smell of healing ointment. He often gets nicked when working with crawfish and crabs and sometimes it draws blood and he avoids using the ointment as much as possible.

PERSONALITY
Very outgoing but quiet. He enjoys listening to others talk about their interests but rarely mentions his own. He keeps most things to himself and doesn’t talk about his life much, he is pretty secretive about his life. He’s very caring and empathetic, he cares deeply for others and especially animals. He is very honest, sometimes brutally honest. Doesn’t have too much patience but does when it comes to his work. He’s not very physically strong but he has a strong will and is very optimistic. He is incredibly smart and flexible. He often gets obsessed with his work and can spend days without eating, drinking and sleeping. He is very compassionate about his work.

"what if dragons were real?"
GENERAL STORY
Grew up in a humid rainforest with two loving parents. Has two older siblings who have their own lives so he doesn’t see them much. He didn’t grow up with them as they were already out on their own by the time he was born. Tragically he lost both of his parents at the age of one and has lived on his own since then. His parents were attacked by rabid dogs on their way back home in the dark from the market. He was forced to learn how to live on his own and spent a lot of time studying. His mom was a zoologist, with a specialty in amphibians, which is where he got his love for the water and water creatures. His dad was a fantasy writer and liked to believe that dragons once existed(or maybe they still do?), this is where he got his love for fantasy. When his parents built their home about 15 years prior they planted fruit trees and bushes nearby and made a garden. They would often trade these fruits and vegetables for paper, pens, materials, medical supplies, and other necessities. They would also sometimes trade medium to small prey animals for supplies.
STUDIES STORY
He studied long and hard to become a marine biologist, focusing on animals. He didn’t go to school, as he couldn’t afford it(school is not required and something you have to pay for), but he spent long nights in the library reading about marine biology. Sometimes he would trade for books to study.. or fantasy novels. After about a year of hard work and studying he took the test to become a marine biologist and passed. Ever since then, he has been working with crawfish and crabs to determine what diseases are drastically affecting their population and how to help prevent or treat them. These studies are not very popular so there isn’t a lot that can be done to help, but he is very determined, optimistic, and obsessed with trying to figure out what's wrong.
