Rabbit

Rabbit began their life as Bubbles, a sparkly and bubbly little chatterbox that loved to sing and tell jokes. The grem had been commissioned as entertainment for a wealthy couple and their kids. This request, granted them lots of skills, such as immense flexibility and increased dexterity. Of course, this also meant they were visuallyy entertaining, taking on the appearance of a jester with a large set of front teeth. Early on in a life with their assigned family, they sang and told jokes to entertain the children Mark and Kate.

The children grew older and gradually became tired of their silly pet. When Mark and Kate brought their friends, Bubbles would try and join in on the fun. This often caused the grem to embarrass their owners, most of their schoolmates teasing that clowns were for babies. It came to the point where the son and daughter would lock them in a room when friends visited or to hang out a sleepover.

When Mark hit high school, he entered his edgy phase, much like his group of friends. During one visit to Mark's house, they spotted the grem and beckoned them to play. The neglected clown had been hesitant at first, but the want to be included took hold, and they skipped along to join Mark. Little did Bubbles know, they had trotted into a trap. Before they knew it, they were pinned down, one of the boys taking out a pocket knife and carving smile into the cheeks of their muzzle. Over the pain, they could hear the son talking about how they and their friends "fixed them" and that all they had to do now was knock out those goofy front teeth. To Bubbles' luck, a gardener on the property passed by and the boys scattered before they could do further harm.

Not wanting to endure further abuse, they ran away from home, living in the woods and in alleys. The pain on either side of their mouth made them hesitant to talk, as well as afraid to show their face. On a particularly stormy night, they crawled into a nearby building to escape the rain after digging through the garbage for food. One of the groundskeepers came across the lone grem and upon apprehension, they were introduced to Kiryl, a mantagrem living locally, and taken under their wing.

Kiryl the mantagrem took the stray clown in without hesitation, and got to work nursing it back to health.

Over the years, Rabbit has managed to recover much of their confidence with the help of Kiryl. They still opt not to talk (except for some very select circumstances), but it hasn't held them back from expanding on their skills and performing.
