Loreley

Loreley based on the german Myth "the Loreley". Loreley in Germany does describe the Rock, to be specific, a certain place in the Rhein where lots of ship accidents happened. According to the Myth this happens because of the Loreley, a Nixe (engl. often also compared to a mermaid or siren) who lures seamen with her beautiful singing and appareance to her causing them to break into it.

Loreley is a tragic figure who was known for her beauty and because of the beauty people accused her of being a Witch. This only became stronger when Loreley's Sweetheart Eberhard wouldnt return to her and she didn't want to move on with someone else. She eventually ended up in front of a bishop who took pity at her and told her to live as a nun from now on. When she was on her way to her new Home she saw her sweetheart on a Boat on the Rhein, returning from War. He also saw her and was so delighted to see her that he crashed into the Rock, Loreley jumped after him desperately. There are many different variations of this tale - For Example in another Version Loreley loved someone but he didnt returned her love, in another one her sweetheart cheated on her. I liked this tragic tale more because in the end it hold true Love in its core. 

Loreley is actually a rather young Myth. Around 1801-1802 she appeared the first time in Clemens Bretanos Novel "Godwi" where they talk about the Legend of the Loreley. Clemens Bretano would later use the Character of the Loreley in his "Rheinmärchen" once again. Loreley was never shown as a malicious being and besides that he is the main creator of the Loreley, I agree with him. Loreley to me always was a tragic person who probably dont even intend to lure people into a trap but just sings for herself in hope to see Eberhard once again. 

While I use Loreley as a Fan-Servant for Fate/Grand Order, I also see her as just simply my take and vision on her Myth. So I keep this Text rather Neutral. In Fate/Grand Order she is a 3*Rider who mainly acts as support but also can be a damage dealer. Her release would be with the Mission based  Event I imagined, which would be called "The Rheingold-Ralley".
