One year, his family's crops weren't yielding enough food compared to the others and Alma sought help. When he came across a witch, she granted him a lasso threaded with gold and glowstone, telling him that lassoing the stars closer would help light up their farm. This worked for a while, but when Alma lassoed a shooting star, he brought it down onto the ground and made a crater. Despite it all, his family flourished.
