His mother, in poor health, often spent her days resting. His father was taken for his crimes against clan cats.
It wasn’t long before Kohjee was alone.
Left to his own devices, the golden juvenile quickly learned that survival meant relying on his wit and agility. Fortunately, an aging rogue quickly found the unstealthy tom and took him under their wing. “Every cat needs to learn how to survive,” the rogue advised him. So they taught Kohjee the art of the steal.
And he was a natural.
He had a keen eye for detail and a talent for talking himself out of trouble. It wasn’t long before he was sneaking into camps, swiping anything of value to later peddle to other clans, and vanishing just as fast as he came.
The rogue was a proud teacher, imparting wisdom on Kohjee after each theft until he was fatally wounded in a clan heist gone wrong. On his deathbed, he shared his final lesson of wisdom with Kohjee - the code of honor among thieves.
Kohjee quickly adapted to life alone, honing in on his stealth and thievery skills. Known as a savvy peddler, with an ability to procure the strangest items, and never staying in one place for too long.
A fantastical traveler.
Nomadic and free, with no one to think of except himself.
