Background
Ryu is generally a chill person, who prefers doing things he enjoys over doing any actual physical work. Since he was young he always enjoyed music, even though he grew up differently from it. His father doesn't share the same views as him, preferring him to follow in his path with becoming a proper businessman with stern views and upstanding responsibilities, this is sort of what inspired Ryu to take on a bit of a 'rebel' look to his attire and personality. His father isn't always home, leaving Ryu to do as he pleases when he gets home. His mother disappeared around the age of 12, with not much of a reason behind it to what he knows, since his father hasn't told him why. Ryu does decently in school, he has 2-3 friends and sometimes hangs out with them in town, in stores, or sleepovers when they have the time off. For the most part Ryu's only source of income is his music and art online, which isn't a whole lot, he sometimes takes a few odd jobs around town as well if it can't be helped.

Ryu's parents were killed off in the war against a different colony. However he doesn't let their death keep his spirit somber. As as child, he was taken in by one of the guardians of his home, and taught how to survive. Currently he lives in a small coral village within the Shark kingdoms territory. He occasionally messes with any boats, fishermen, that come too close to their territories, and when he can, journeys closer to the shores to observe humans out of the general curiosity.
