Leannan Teatree was a young girl that lived alone on the edge of the Copia Wildwood. She made a living by creating medical concoctions for the local town of Tussoa. When she was about 17 she met a local feral creature named Leaf. They didn't speak common and behaved like a wild animal. Leannan taught them how to speak common as well as a lot about her own medical practice. The pair eventually became something of a situationship and Leaf would go to the feywild and bring back plants that she used in her work. Leaf would leave for long periods of time so they worked on creating a magical flower that would allow them to communicate over long distances. One day, Leaf had been gone longer than expected, months longer. She set off into the woods despites Leaf’s warnings to never do so. She ends up being trapped in a crystal in an unknown part of the woods until she is found later by Leaf.

• Leannan is named after the Leannan Sidhe, in the story a fey comes out of the woods and takes a human lover. However I decided to flip it so that she was one experiencing the fey from the woods trope instead. Leaf isn't a fey but was raised in fey culture.
• Leannan is definitely a maximalist when it comes to decorating her home. It is extremely cozy.
• Leaf and Leannan are no longer together in the main story. However, Leaf has tried really hard to give her everything she needs to live the life she wants. Leannan always dreamed of working under a famous doctor and getting a more complete education. Leaf ended up introducing her to a doctor they met on their travels and she is now his intern.
