Luella

Luella awakes underneath plush leaves. The soft foliage blooms with pale pink petals.

Floppy ears bounce around. Luella rises, meeting the sun for the first time. Their three eyes meet those of a dozen of rabbits, noses twitching at the sweet scent of flowers.

Luella's hand reaches out to one of the creatures. The animal leans into the touch. It's so soft, Luella thinks. Before they realize, all the rabbits have cuddled against them, squeaking with pleasure. They sink under Luella's pale pink cowl, plush and fluffy as a dandelion, as a bed of leaves.
