I have no idea on what or how ToyHouse works but this is my first attempt at doing this in general so forgive me if this all seems very shabby-work. Also not sure if I can edit this after submitting so please bear with me (っ ๑︣ ﹏ ๑︣ )っ🎔


Basic Lore Rundown:

  • Zinairah is born to a pair of shark Mobians; the Mother hailing from Ireland and the Father coming from Mexico. They are a loving family!
  • Familial event occurs which forces Zinairah to live alone by herself (She wasn't kicked out of the house tho, moreso everyone was forced apart via circumstances outside of their control!)
  • Starts out as not entirely sure on what to do for her life (taking part-time jobs here and there) while finding ways to support her independent living. Only reason she isn't homeless is because her family paid off the house and left money behind for Zinairah to use in case anything happened. Zinairah is living in a coastal town!
  • While helping local fisherman, Zinairah sees commercial fishing boat dock at coastal town for repairs. Zinairah helps and is asked by one of the fishers about her life. She tells them that she lives alone but knows a lot of things here and there to support her situation, including heavy fishing.
  • Fisherman is intrigued by this and after repairs are made, offers Zinairah a position to become a commercial fisherman with their company. Zinairah then settles on becoming a mariner (basically deep sea fishing work) (which also doubles as her finding the hard road to prove a point to herself subconsciously)
  • Zinairah starts working with fishing company for a few years, Makes a good living (started out from 17 to early 20's, around 22) and eventually becomes captain-worthy according to the company, earning her the right for intense tuna fishing into the Deep Ocean.
  • On her first voyage into deeper waters as acting Captain, she accidentally gets the ship into a storm, gets thrown overboard from waves to get her crew to safety. Does manage to grab onto safety raft that broke off from ship (basic supplies for survival are on raft)
  • Gets knocked out from waves, wakes up beached on a remote island where an old rotten pirate ship lies, goes inside for shelter
  • Finds intact records from long-dead pirates, reads and surveys them, finds a well-preserved/near mint condition blunderbuss belonging to the dead pirate captain of the vessel (Zinairah also finds original captain clothing and bandana, wears it) *Implied to be the wreck from Risky Boots from the Shantae series, but as a Mobian as that was an inspiration for Zinairah's adopt design !
  • Spends 5-6 days on the island surviving off of surviving plant life/well-preserved rum from the ship (also makes an altar celebrating the Day of the Dead to keep her spirits up as she’s half Mexican)
  • On the 6th day, starts to feel delirium and hopelessness creep in as there’ve been no signs of help coming to rescue, faints due to exhaustion, and comes to to a hallucination dream-like state to which she sees her family
  • She laments to her family about her life choices and the self-doubt she’s felt for years, even during her sea time. She confides in them and to her ancestors as she doesn’t know if she’s done right by them living how she did. Her visions comfort her with the fact she saved her crew during the storm that rocked her away and has done honest work for herself and those around her.
  • “What will you do now?”
  • Comes to renewed with vim and vigor, starts to plan to escape, and strips away at the ship for materials, finding gunpowder and enough materials to light an enormous bonfire to last hours
  • Help does eventually arrive and she gets back home safely, but now changed by her experiences
  • Outgoing and rowdy “derring-do” personality hardened to lead; accompanied by a soft and compassionate center that vows to keep her crew together, no matter what.

Zinairah leads a crew around the world as she travels via the same ship she took shelter in when she was marooned on that island, using the pirate moniker as her way of overcoming her trauma from her experience! She's often the "Mama" of her crew whenever needed, but she'll fight like one if you mess with those under her wing!
