A.V.A, short for Anthropomorphic Vertebrate Apparatus, is a sentient, intelligent, and docile prototype android created originally as a weapon before the project was scrapped. While they are peaceful, they are a force to be reckoned with; being extremely fast, powerful, capable of flight, and can use multiple types of blast weapons (but I don’t think anything would warrant it having to use their full potential).

 Despite being unable to speak, they are still rather good at understanding and communicating through other means. To display it’s mood, A.V.A is capable of displaying several ASCII symbols in their eyes. They also are capable of making small, robotic chirps and whirs.

Their intelligence has proven to be above a normal human’s, able to process and problem solve at a faster pace. A.V.A’s behavior is not unlike a cat’s, able to be affectionate and loving when it wants to while still being reserved and quiet. They are naturally curious and easily spooked.

 A.V.A has four different types of blast weapons which they can charge and fire from their palms. When charging a blast, their eyes and the LED light in their chest glow. The four energy blasts are:

• Fire: a large stream of hot red flames is unleashed from their palms, it’s highly destructive and cannot hold a charge for very long. Their eyes and chest glow a bright red while charging
• Lightning: a fast blast of electricity is shot out from the palms, useful for destroying other machines or honing in on living creatures. Eyes and chest glow a neon yellow
•  Energy: a massive, searing ball of green plasma is fired from the palms, which can shoot through most solid matter. This blast takes the longest to charge fully. Eyes and chest glow a bright green while charging
• Ice: fires a jagged beam of freezing energy to freeze a target solid. Eyes and chest glow a brilliant cyan while charging

A.V.A currently resides in a top-secret research facility, looked after by scientists and used for testing purposes (and companionship).

Other miscellaneous info:

• For energy, A.V.A only requires to be charged for about an hour through a USB port through it’s underside when it’s low on energy, or through battery cells, which need to be inserted manually and disposed of when they are used up. 
• A.V.A was originally going to be shelved, however staff and scientists became too attached to it and protested the decision 
• the project was scrapped both due to money concerns, and the concept not taken seriously enough
• Very protective of its caretakers
