Jean

Jean's actually a spider demon, however he lives pretty perpetually in his human glamour. This is due largely to his late wife, who preferred to keep him in his more vulnerable form and use him as bait to lure in human prey. He's a rather downcast sort, and is a recent widower much to his relief. He hails from a matriarchal society, and was married off to an abusive wife who eventually fell at the hands of some monster hunters while he was spared. He tends to wear turtlenecks and the like to keep himself covered and his scars from the relationship hidden. He's trying hard to move on with his life, but it's rather difficult for him to pick up the pieces and learn to stand on his own. He's working hard on it though.

He finds the most comfort with hot cups of vanilla tea with honey, calm music, and a warm blanket or someone he trusts to snuggle. He's gotten into a relationship with a dogboy named Fiyero, who's an absolute ray of sunshine as well as patient with all of Jean's mental and physical scars. He finds his cheeks aching from smiling so much lately.
