Nova is the Guardian Deity of the Isle of the Sunne. As the emissary of Solgaleo, it’s his responsibility to share the words of the Sunne with the people of Alola. When he’s not on the job, he likes to kick back and relax on the warm sunny beaches of the isle. Nova cares a lot about his work as a Guardian, and is dedicated to keeping the peace across the region.
Personality
Relaxed
Nova is a bit of an outlier among his kind. Unlike the upbeat and energetic personalities of most victini, he’s much more laid back and loves to relax. He takes life one day at a time, focusing entirely on the present and rarely worrying about the future. Although he’s a hard worker when he’s on the job, he’s otherwise pretty lazy, spending all his free time lounging around the beach instead of doing his chores.
Peaceful
A pacifist by nature, Nova greatly favors tranquility over hostility. He tries to resolve conflict as peacefully as possible, and is good at helping others calm down when they’re riled up. Since he hates battling, he’ll only fight in self defense or to protect someone else; even so, his reluctance to hurt anyone prevents him from doing much.
Cheerful
Nova’s happy-go-lucky outlook on life always keeps him in high spirits. It’s rare to see him without a smile, let alone in a bad mood.
Friendly
Nova is a friendly fellow who finds it easy to get along with just about anyone. It takes quite a lot for him to truly dislike someone, even if they’ve treated him poorly in the past.
Optimistic
No matter what situation he finds himself in, Nova tries to stay positive and find the good within the bad. He tends to see the world through rose-tinted glasses, which makes him rather oblivious to the stakes or consequences of more serious issues.
Resentful
Despite his kind and friendly attitude, Nova can’t help holding grudges against those who have wronged him in the past. Though he’ll still treat them respectfully, he avoids being around them when he can help it, and is reluctant to forgive them unless he sees that they’ve changed for the better.

- Nova was created on February 19th, 2024.
- Like other victini, he has the power to share his energy with others. Rather than receiving a boost in strength, the recipient’s mind will be calmed and cleared of negative thoughts.
- He’s afraid of the dark. He can’t sleep at night unless he’s in a well-lit area.
- Malasadas are his favorite food.
