since his name, Sanguine Night is a bit of a mouthful to say, he tends to simply go by Sanguine, Sangi, or San. dont call him Sanguinnie though. its embarassing

hes a fruitbat pony specifically! he will not eat anything if it isnt mostly fruit or sugar. give him any of that "zero sugar" nonsense and he will. not do anything but will be upset for the rest of the day! his favorite fruits are starfruit, not because they taste good but because they look cool and is on theme with his whole astrology thing he got going on. he really believes those astrology charts in the weekly mail. he's nocturnal, always tired, and his eyes are sensitive to the light. he tends to hiss at things instincctively.

applejack does not trust him anywhere near her farm even though he.. has never done anything to her apples, and used to always get his fruits from Sweet Apple Acre till he got tired of being stared at susupiciously and now goes literally anywhere else. he's also friends with rarity. the two met in the salon, she complimented his mane, Sanguine complimented hers back, and now they go to the salon together weekly to talk and catch up and gossip. they are besties.
