Prior to her birth, Eclipsecrown's fate had been veiled with shadow. The last time her mother had visited the herbalist's den for a check-up, they had received both a vision and a prophecy. Words had spilled forth from their mouth, "The ascension of the moon is trailed by an unfolding darkness. Under the union of the moon and sun, a scarlet night will become everlasting, unless the crown of eclipse can pierce through withered vines." Before the herbalist could speaking normally and communicate the vision that followed, a seizure had taken hold.
The herbalist apprentice had annouced his mentor's death later that night, and shared the prophecy with the clan leader. At the time, the clan leader had decided publicly annouce the prophecy so the clan may share their ideas on what it meant. Although unconfirmed, many believed that one in Obsidiansun's litter would be the saviour that the prophecy speaks. Obsidiansun had later given birth to a litter, in which only a single kit survived the kitting, and had named her Eclipsekit.
Eclipsecrown possesses a mellow, collected complexion with her well-groomed coat and the refined way she carries herself.
At first glance, Eclipsecrown gives the impression of an apathetic individual as her usual expression is a neutral, bored look. It isn't that far from the truth as she has only a mild interest in being social with others. Eclipsecrown gives little to express her own thoughts and feelings, not letting other cats gauge her.- Content

She's the
Baleblossom, Blackbird, and Eclipsecrown found companionship and solace in each other as they were kits, then apprentices, then finally made warriors. Whereas Eclipsecrown had been in the foreground, she allowed herself to drift into the background as Baleblossom soaked up the attention instead with her daring feats. It's just as Eclipsecrown wanted.

She never wanted to be the brightest star in the night sky, all eyes adorning her with attention. All Eclipsecrown aims to do is please her colony through her own skills and abilities, particularly hunting as she's fond of the old traditional customs of hunting at night. She's a simple molly, putting on her best behavior with everyone and being mildly interested in their own activities and personal pursuits.
However as Baleblossom ambition continues to grow, Eclipsecrown becomes more moralistic, expressing her concerns to the extent of her best friend's aspirations.
