it really is so much fun, especially with all the new quality of life stuff like the creator companion and vrcfury. i uploaded an avatar back before any of this just using unity and the sdk, and it sucked so bad i really hated it lol. now i find messing with it a lot of fun, even relaxing (except for when i inevitably break something) and its really gratifying to see a character i created myself move around in vr :D
id love to do texture commissions in the future! i cant do super detailed stuff and am sorta just doing a flat cartoonish style so im not super confident at it but im slowly getting better. i also cant do any 3d modeling from scratch and would be using premade assets for anything outside of a base. the textures i did for friends i did for 30 usd so the price would probably be around there!
Yeah I remember those times too, making all the toggles yourself etc xD It was so hard to figure out. Vrcfury seems much easier haha!
And awesome, gonna wait for that! ^^ And I think I would just need ear swap from ready assets (maris floppy ears set) on mayu base, textures and added clothing. But I will save up meanwhile, and keep my eyes open if you happen to open them!! :D
awesome! that def sounds like something within the lines i can do :) i have a texture im finishing up for a friend, and ill probably take a small break before i make a post about it but i hope to have a small opening within the coming weeks =w=
