grey was born and raised in northern illinois and now works as an ecologist! he attended college in indiana and now does field & restoration work in the great lakes region. in his spare time he's a pretty silly guy who likes hanging out with friends, being in nature, and exploring his interests. he's also a dedicated birder and volunteer at a birds of prey sanctuary! 

• stands at 5'5'' and has a chubby build, especially around his belly & hips (he can also be drawn with a chunkier dad bod!)
• ears are intentionally large
• the fur around his tattoo is shaved
• tattoo is not optional
• light gray marking on legs can extend to the heel or to the knee
• marking edges can be zig-zag or scalloped
• fur is longest on the back of his neck, on the back of his legs, in his ears, and on his tail
• fur on the back of his neck can be any length, but is usually stylized scruffy or like a mullet
• can be drawn nude (no nsfw) or with any clothes from his wardrobe (see tab)
• can be drawn interacting with the birds of prey that he cares for via volunteer work! this includes a few species but i'd love to see him with a barn owl :]

• he's the youngest of 3 brothers, and is close with both. he and his oldest brother have the same tattoo!
• he smells like oyster mushrooms, pine needles, oakmoss, damp earth, and petrichor.
• he's autistic! he has a special interest in birds.
• he tends to bond hard with people and has several best friends.
• he has lots of passions and will happily ramble about them if given the chance.
• he loves collecting stuff! his focuses are animal bones, oddities, good books, and any nature- or mushroom-themed decor.
• he believes very deeply in kindness and the power of positive thinking.
• his favorite sports are ski-jumping and ice hockey, though he's never participated in either. 
• he spent much of his youth participating in theater tech and still has a fondness for it.
• he drives an old jeep with lots of bumper stickers.
