I was trying to do something else but then she happened and she breaks my heart. She just looks so sorrowful... Please find a way to bring her happiness.

The reason Nocturne's so upset is that her kingdom has been trapped in an eternal night ever since she was born. For her entire life, she's wanted to see the sun, but she doesn't know how to break the curse and she can't leave her kingdom in fear of something happening to it and it's people. 

 Eventually she meets a group of Heroes who explore the dugeon underneath the castle and destroy the crystal that was causing the curse. She finally gets to see the sun and her kingdom is saved. She then joins the group and her brother temporarily takes her place as the future ruler so she can travel with them. 

And then, she finally becomes happy...
