Nimda was created for a very specific purpose. A dam was constructed across a river that was home to several endangered species. Activists couldn't stop the dam from being built, so they instead engineered a virus to wreak havoc on its operations. Nimda is that virus. They were given more free will than the activists anticipated, and eventually Nimda broke away from their creators. However they are still fighting the fight they were made for. It turns out that messing with the dam is actually a lot of fun. Nimda is a playful spirit who enjoys learning and tinkering with whatever they come across. They can't really speak, so instead communicate using body language and the various digital elements of their body. They are fearless and social, happy to interact with the creatures around them. How they came to have the features of a werm is unknown.

Glesne When Nimda was released into the dam and started to explore the surrounding waterway, they weren't expecting to meet another werm at all. Glesne was equally surprised at Nimda's presence. Luckily it didn't take long for the two of them to realize that they share a common goal. Fighting against the dam not only helped them achieve what they needed, but allowed the two wermz to grow closer. Glesne keeps Nimda a secret from the cameras that are mounted on the side of the dam. All anyone watching ever sees is a flash of electricity followed by a pair of glowing, red eyes...
