  • • In his backstory. Tyr is both physically and mentally abused by adults at a young age. He is locked away and forced to fight his only friend, then broken after he believes he killed that friend. He's practically a catatonic murderer for a while after that until he eventually ends up running away when the group he was living with is attacked and destroyed.

  • • Tyr lives in Adorix, which is the kingdom that is most commonly a target of racism. As such, many treat them like lesser if they realize where they are from.

  • • Tyr drinks a LOT and is a notable alcoholic through the majority of the story. This includes notes that he drank underaged. He does eventually work through this, but it is a major part of his character and story arc.

  • • Tyr was a part of a group called The Apathetic as a child. He was treated like a tool and told to remove as much of his personality as possible. Later, Tyr often has to deal with and fight against a Cult called the Children of the Goddess, who believe themselves to be the direct descendants of the Goddess Andreu.
