Terric

Terric the Terrible was once a powerful monster that terrorized the towns that were in his territory. He thrived on the fear of the people and the sacrifices that they gave him to keep him from killing them out of boredom. If they missed a sacrifice, then they became fair gain for his entertainment.

One day, a human with a strange power arrived in Terric's land. The scent of the human was foreign and Terric could tell that this human was dangerous. However, his curiosity was stronger than his instincts, and he let the human be, watching as this strange person stitched together a doll that looked exactly like the beast. When the piece of work was finished, the human brought it to Terric the Terrible as a peace offering.

The beast, unsure of what to think, bared his fangs and gave a earth shaking roar, to which the human took as a refusal. Instead of walking away, they gave a simple nod and said "Very well, then" before a sharp pain took the beast by surprise. His right ear had been pierced with a blade that had a tag attached to it. The tag was blank, but when the beast brought his gaze back to the human, the human was holding a small ear ring with a similar tag on it. They clipped the tag onto the stuffed animal's ear, then Terric gave another roar as the tag on his ear burst into flames and everything around him changed.

When he finally opened his eyes, he blinked a few times, then looked around. Everything around him was larger, and he felt a pair of arms around his form. He looked up, and the human that had been so small before was now so much larger than himself.

"You have killed for pleasure and ruled this land with hatred. Now it's time for you to repay for your sins. This is your form until you can learn to care about others, or you get treated as you have treated them for so many years."

It has been a long time since that happened, and now Terric is viewed as a cursed toy by many people. He's often found, then thrown aside when the humans realize that he moves and is a living stuffed animal. His attitude has changed over the years, and he's now looking for someone who will give him a chance to prove himself, but he needs to find someone who will listen to him, first.

Note: He reverts to his full form when the doll is damaged or he is experiencing a strong emotion (Rage, Hatred, Love, etc) but when he reverts, the tag in his ear bursts into flames and starts to turn to ash. When the flame on the tag goes out and the ashes hit the ground, he is yanked back into the plush form, which is repaired by the same magic that keeps him trapped to it. (If it's damaged and he doesn't revert, it will heal with time just like any of our wounds. Just instead of blood, it oozes stuffing)
