BACKGROUND

Pre-show events:

Early years (Birth-15):

Kimiye grew up during All Might's rise to popularity, as such, like many others, she grew to love heroes. She would often draw her favorite heroes and always dreamed of being around when heroes would be on the scene. One day, her small dream would be realized when she met All Might during one of his rescues. (She was about 10 at this time) She became smitten with him at a young age, and carried the crush with her through elementary and middle school. 

Her powers kept her family on their toes. Thankfully, due to her young, developing mind, it was harder for her to make anything too destructive or powerful, but even so, her vivid imagination left all sorts of things around the house that she had created. Eventually, she learned how to neatly dismiss her creations. In middle school, she realized how much potential her power had, and no matter what she knew she had to work on developing it.

High school years (15-19):

When the time came for her to go into high-school, she had made the decision to make it into UA. Even if she knew she didn't have ambitions of making it high up on the hero leaderboard, she knew UA would make her the best hero she could be, and of course the idea of going to the same school that All Might had made it all the more appealing.

She had doubts about herself, as anyone would during such a sensitive time, but she perservered through it, making it into UA. Her entrance exam wasn't extrodinary, but her attention to detail and creativity left an impression on the staff, landing her a place in UA. 

Eventually, she realized the hero course was what she truly wanted to do. Despite loving hero studies, it was true her excel was in art, and she often would draw in class, much to the distain of her teachers, but she managed to keep her grades up despite that. 

Her closest friends during highschool was Shin'ya Kamihara (Edgeshot), despite having differing personalities, the two became good friends. Later during her last year at UA, she became close with Nemuri Kayama (Midnight) who was a first year. The two bonded over art, and despite Kimiye finding her personality a bit much sometimes, the two grew very close.

She was still a very big fangirl during highschool, although her crush that she had on All Might "subsided". She still had hopes of meeting him one day, but after maturing some she realized her feelings were most likely misplaced, as she was only attracted to the side of him she saw in the media, despite this outlook however, she still found herself enamored by him, even if she didn't want to admit it.

Post graduation/Early Adult Life (19-27)

Not long after graduation, having her pro hero license, she decided her aim would be to work for All Might's hero agency. With All Might being as popular as he is, obviously the compeition to get in is siginificantly more harsh compared to other agencies. She decided her best bet would be to do her best at a different agency, building up her reputation further. She went with one of the agencies that reached out to her during the last Sports Festival she had taken part in. While working for this agency, she had many good rescues as well as she built up her portfolio as an artist, getting the opprotunity to work with many prominient buisnesses and even a few smaller hero agencies. Her artistic abilites, the powers of her quirk and her well known caring demeanor made her a fairly well known hero. Her biggest claim to fame during this time was the fact that she was a hero who used her artistic talents to create art based on other heroes, as such, she had the amazing chance to work with companies to produce Pro Hero related merchandise. Even if she wasn't very close to the high ranking pro heroes, she hoped that her positive feelings would reach them through her work, especially All Might. 

UA high employment (28-35):

Eventually, Kimiye would begin to grow disappointed that she had not yet been invited to work at All Might's agency, however, this goal would shift after she recieves an invitation to work as a faculty member at UA high, as per Midnight's recommendation. Principal Nezu thought Kimiye would be a perfect addition to the school as an art teacher. She was invited to present a lesson plan that she could inact, and Kimiye knew she could not waste an opportunity like this. After some thought, she realized that at a place like UA, even if they do teach more standard classes, she didn't want her class to be a run-of-the-mill class. Taking into account that not everyone takes art in school because they really like it, she aimed for her class to both serve as a typical art curriculum and a way to inspire students to love their quirks and be creative with them, no matter what type of quirk they have. By using students quirks in their art creation, she strives to bring students closer to their quirks and the benefits of being creative, no matter the situation.
