Since Noelle grew up as the forgettable second child in a noble household, she is used to rarely receiving attention and discipline for her irresponsible choices. This has lead to Noelle becoming a rebellious adult with a love for pranks. While she is rather spoilt and sheltered from her upbringing, she craves to see what is beyond the city of Listya and hopes to eventually explore all the kingdoms. The few cases where Noelle gets punished, she will throw others under the bus often with remarks like 'Why would I, a lady do such terrible things?"
Noelle is a rather mischievous and fearless girl, she often sneaks out of her family estate during the night, coming back with small nicks and scratches from her clumsy adventures in the morning. Despite being clumsy, Noelle is a fearless adventurer, well adventurer is one way to put it. Often Noelle finds herself in arguments with her caretakers because of her single-minded focus on her challenging her limitations during adventures, and because of their lack of caring before she was the heir to the family fortune. Whenever others lecture her on how dangerous it is for someone of her status to wander the streets alone, her overly optimistic remarks often shut them down before they can respond. Noelle often finds it difficult to view things from anyone else's perspective often stating that her opinions are facts and those who disagree can face her title.
History:
The Beaulieu family was one of the oldest families in the Kingdom of Spades and had its fair share of mighty warriors some who lived and others who fell with honour during many hardships the kingdom faced. Nolan Beaulieu, the father of Noelle, was a well-respected count who's stern exterior was that which could startle most warriors. His wife and the mother of Noelle, Myriam Beaulieu was a former noble from the kingdom of hearts with a much more gentle appearance. Myriam had a tendency to care for the children who were not a hardy as the average Spade citizen as if they were like her two biological children.
Noelle's childhood was not particularly problematic nor was is perfect. Growing up, Noelle never really got attention from either of her parents. Her father was set on making her brother his perfect heir while Noelle would have to compete with other children from her mother's affection. The lack of attention from her family, caused the little lady to develop a rebellious nature pretty early on. Her boredom was taken out on the other children in the form of pranks and other mischievous deeds; the few times Noelle was actually caught misbehaving she would often blame the others, claiming they were bullying her.
As she began to age, Noelle's need for attention began to die down and she started to fix most of her relationships with the other children. Instead of pulling pranks on the children she would team up and prank the workers along with visiting nobility. During her combat training, Noelle would often goof off or just skip classes when she could. Overall her teen years were just the cycle of misbehaving, annoying workers and repeat. It was clear that Noelle was disliked by the other heirs who were more serious citizens about their status but she did not care. There were few cases where she just flashes her shorts and ran away, often leaving very confused boys. At one point her father even called her a disgrace to the Beaulieu name, but Nolan could not hate his flesh and blood forever.
Around Noelle's 18th birthday her brother passed away from injuries received during a duel, making Noelle the family successor. The newly gained responsibility hit her like a ton of bricks that she did not want. Noelle had no interest in inheriting her father's status and land, she just wanted to explore the world. It was only after a slap from her father and a defeat that Noelle realised that her sickly father only had a limited time left in this realm.
