- Hunters of Ruination's main focus is on some general ideas and Pokémon taken from Gen IX. Additionally, it also takes some very loose inspiration from Kirby and the Forgotten Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Amphibia, and the Wonder Boy in Monster World series
- That being said, this fic does contain some unmarked spoilers for all the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including the Indigo Disk DLC, along with the aforementioned Kirby and the Forgotten Land. If you intend to play any of these games blind, I urge you to skip this fic for the time being. If not, then I recommend that you read at your own discretion
