Profile

Micah Sirrioux was born to Christopher and Karen Sirrioux, the latter of which being a powerful shapeshifter.  The youngest of three siblings (Shane and Megan), Micah was the only of the children to inherit any of her mother's magic. However, there was too much for her to handle, her body constantly shifted genders when she was born, unable to control the shape her body there was no idea what gender she naturally was and it took an emotional toll.  Her parents had to raise her as whichever gender her mind was identifying as at the moment and the constant switching lead to many emotional problems and an identity crisis that led to years of issues.   Her mind was exhausted by this.

As she grew up, her interests started to develop but many would become problematic with her gender situation. Hockey was primarily for boys, She enjoyed dance and choir which was more common among girls and swimming led to some strange decisions having to be made as well.  It was tough for a child to bear and was often a little baffling for Micah.   These largely got haulted when she was injured at a Hockey camp, her ankle snapping and requiring surgical repair and bolts in her ankle.   Because of the cast, Hockey, Dance, Swimming and anything physical was basically out the window for a number of months.  Micah was very down, she could still sing but not too much else.  Her Father tried many things to cheer her up in the time being.  Video games were largely a miss and instead more picked up by her older siblings. Writing and drawing weren't for her either but her dad tried one last idea, music.  The gift of a guitar stuck out to Micah, she was so entranced by her new ability to make sounds and melodies, she didn't know what she was doing, but she was creating notes and it was exciting to her.  Over time, her ankle healed and she could return to hockey and did with less frequency and passion.  She was more excited to learn the guitar and she continued choir.  Learning proper guitar technique and how to read music was very frustrating, but she kept at it because she saw improvement.  Her random strums were now making pleasant melodies, the music was easier to read and to follow and most importantly, she was able to do this, regardless of her body, and it all added up to make her very happy.

(Still under construction.)
