Anfisa

Anfisa is an eternally curious and highly peculiar Argonian who grew up in a secluded northern area of Black Marsh. Her curiosity and quest to further her study of magic lost and unknown to most eventually led her to Skyrim, where she was apprehended on the border and thrown in with a group of assorted prisoners - including Hiisi, with whom she formed an uneasy alliance upon meeting again outside Whiterun. The two were both found to be Dragonborn, an anomaly in that two Dragonborn would exist at the same time with little explanation. While Hiisi was irritated by this revelation, Anfisa was ecstatic and stayed with the Greybeards for longer to discover more about her newfound powers before venturing out towards the College of Winterhold where she currently serves as the Arch-Mage. While improving both the structure and reputation of the College proves a difficult challenge, Anfisa is determined to user her position to help improve the lives of the people of Winterhold as well as the quality of research and life at the College itself.

Anfisa is somewhat blunt in her mannerisms, and while tight-lipped in many situations, she will eagerly talk at length about the workings of magic and her study of conjuration. Her accent is odd among Argonians, likely due to the relative isolation of her clan, and resembles some equivalent of a Slavic accent. Like Hiisi, she does not involve herself in the civil war in Skyrim. This is partially due to her feeling alienated by both factions as well as her belief that some alternative to one side ruling over the other must be possible.

She is good friends with her classmates from the College of Winterhold, who still regularly work with her there following her appointment as Arch-Mage. She also considers Serana a close friend and offers her a position as an adjunct instructor at the College after the events of Dawnguard.
