MIDNIGHT !!

“The moon is a friend for the lonesome to talk to.”

Midnight didn’t originally have a physical body. He was once a brilliant star that inhabited the cosmos and shined brightly in the night sky. Until he came crashing down, that is. He was sentient when he was a star, so was the many stars that surrounded him. Unfortunately, He was knocked out of orbit by a larger entity and pierced through the atmosphere, sending him crashing into the world below. In pure desperation, he quickly searched for a vessel to hold his energy, otherwise he would explode on the spot. An unfortunate civilian just happened to be nearby, curious of the bright light and large crater it caused in the ground. He would then take their body moments later, drastically changing their appearance.

Midnight is a melee phighter, using a sword conjured up by the remaining magic stored in his horns. Midnight has two different appearances. His energy level determines which is showing, which is displayed by the moon-like crystal imbedded in his chest. When he is lower in energy, he is blue in color and the crystal will display a crescent moon or the phases up to a half moon. When his energy is higher, he will be greener in color and the crystal will display a half moon or the phases up to a full moon. Midnight is unable to feel sympathy for others and can come off as nonchalant and blunt. He often gaslights himself into thinking he doesn’t care about the people he cares for, fearing they might leave him. He fears getting attached. He does not have many friends due to this attitude. When he’s higher in energy, however, he will become much friendlier and expressive than his blue counterpart.
