Self Conscious - Clumsy - Insecure - Gentle - Nervous

Young and unsure  of himself, Xian has very little self confidence. He's clumsy, self  conscious, and awkward. While not shy by any means, he finds it very  hard to hold conversations with others because of his own insecurities.  He wants friends, but doesn't quite know how to make them. Being genuine  is hard, and Xian often puts up a front to try and "be cool", often  acting smarter than he is or boasting about things he can't do. This  often blows up in his face, spectacularly at that, and he's left with  even more shattered confidence. It's a vicious cycle.

Xian is still  coming into himself, and learning what it means to be his own person. He  prefers what many consider "lioness' work", foraging, sitting with the  cubs--that sort of thing. His near-sightedness and sensitivity to light  make physical combat rather difficult, and many think him a coward for  it.
