Orion (Coalfire (TR:NG))

Coal was born as a loner around the outskirts of the Twolegplace. He stayed until he was 12 moons before leaving and making his home in an abandoned Twoleg nest just outside of ThunderClan's territory. He was always warned about the colony of cats in the forest that guarded their borders with their claws, but never encountered them until he met Clearblaze as she was about to start kitting. Coal took her back to his den, and Featherfoot, her mate, joined them as she bore 8 kittens. While she was recovering, Clearblaze told Coal about Clan life. When the couple was ready to return to their Clan, Coal requested to join them. Featherfoot warned him about the consequences they would have if the Clan knew a medicine cat had kits, and in return Coal offered to claim he was their father under the guise of his mate dying during the kitting.

A few days later, a warrior named Brookmist appeared. A queen in the camp was giving birth, and Clearblaze was needed back home. The kitting queen, Vixenfrost, agreed to take the extra kits along with her own litter. Featherfoot was quick to try to make Coal comfortable, and very quickly after was introduced to ThunderClan's leader, Fawnstar. During his stay, he helped a ThunderClan patrol drive off a fox, breaking one of his fangs in the proccess.Soon after, he made the decision to join ThunderClan, taking the warrior name Coalfire.

The next few moons were uneventful; he grew close with a few ThunderClan cats, and watched his foster kits become apprentices. Coalfire finally felt like he had a purpose. But his time was cut short when the border patrol he was leading was ambushed. The acompanying warrior, Moonshadow, was knocked unconcious, and the two apprentices left to get help. This left Coalfire an easy target, and was ambushed and killed.
