Carson Cooper

Carson Cooper is a young adult set a few hundred years in the future for his story.  He is lanky then lithe, blond hair and teal eyes.  He has a twin brother named Cameron (green eyed redhead, away in urban area for scholastics) who he tends to resent for leaving the family after their father is gone.  Their family is part of a community that lives somewhat spreadout over a swathe of land in middle America (approximately where modern day Missouri is) and they tend to farmland and livestock.  Carson has to fill his father's role in caring for his mother and the triplets (Eleanor and Evelyn, identical twins, and their brother who needs a name still).  Their community is a large family, that is they are all descended of the same folks and extended family with each other at most distant.  Close knit small town, everyone knows everyone setting.

Carson always wanted to explore the world while Cameron was always shy and too anxious to want to go look for trouble.  Their father was newly gone when Cam was scouted out to join a scholarly foundation in a big city.  He had the choice and chose to go, andhe does visit as well as send home money from projects and part time jobs etc as he gets.

The world is both fantasy and science-fiction as it has folklorish type creatures as well as aliens and settings can range from rural regular Earth-type to outer space and exoplanets and even alternate dimensions.

Carson's character arc is to go from counting corn to causing chaos to being crowned king!
