[IMPORTANT] This guide and driver both inhabit the same body, but are both quite responsive when asked for. Observation has determined that "Springtrap" is not a Distortion, and is quite safe to be around so long as they are unprovoked. Additionally, they can and do have long mental conversations, so it is wise to allow Springtrap to take his time with responses.

Michael Afton is the son of the missing serial killer William Afton, also known as "The Purple Guy". After having run away from home at a young age, Mike joined the Seven Association in an attempt to become a detective and find out just where his bastard of a father had gone.

However, when he did meet his father again, William promised cooperation...if Michael did a couple of favors for him. Unfortunately, the first of these favors simultaneously killed and resurrected Michael through the power of "Remnant"; the second of these favors had led him to getting trapped in the springlock suit known as "Spring Bonnie".

Spring Bonnie is an animatronic/springlock suit of the old pre-Smoke War character of the same name. However, it has been determined that Spring Bonnie is somehow sentient despite being an animatronic, and has no software for AI. It is presumed that the Head has not gone after this strange creature due to the fact that he's a children's mascot, or perhaps simply have not taken interest in him.

The two spent thirty years trapped in a saferoom together, only exiting a few years ago. Limbus Company had found this strange pair after the occurrence known as the Fazbear's Fright incident.

• Springtrap tends to stammer no matter which person is using the body.
• Prior to finding William, Mike had been in a relationship with a fellow Fixer known as Naomi Parks. He doesn't know what happened to her after his disappearance.
• Yes, Springtrap literally walked out and got to learn about an entire war that happened while he was rotting in a saferoom.
• Spring Bonnie is still very cheerful despite everything, and is often the "good cop" to Mike's "bad cop".
