Hatched at Tohjo Falls, and raised by his Father - Angel grew up on the belief that shinies were harmful individuals, and developed an aggressive phobia towards the populous of the mutation. After setting off on his own, he visited Kanto, and then Hoenn, where he would find and befriend his future mate. 

Angel abandoned his mate the day she layed their offspring's egg - dismayed by the fact that the egg she bore was blue in colouration. Their paths would cross again, where Angel's mate would take the opportunity to ask him to stay as part of the family. Angered, Angel took her life - but the egg was not by her side for him to destroy. He assumed she must have hid it, and that the kitten would just die after hatching anyway, so he fled. All the way to Sinnoh's highest peak.
