Dazzle

Dazzle is a textile manufacturing worker from Torpal B. All manufacturing in the OPA has been automated to the point where a single worker manages an entire production floor. While these jobs can be incredibly lonely, it has drastically improved quality of life for OPA citizens. Dazzle's unique fur pattern comes from permanent selective body modifications. Both Dazzle's chosen name and his pattern come from a static camouflage tactic for ancient waterborne warships, designed not to conceal, but to confuse the enemy about a ship's heading, speed, and size. Dazzle likes his work as a production floor manager. He prefers to be alone, and his job gives him time to think and to admire the machinery.
