Summer is a young business woman who took over her grandparents' establishment (a tourist shop/convenience store) once they got too far in age. Shes very calm and mellow most of the time, and it's almost impossible for anyone to get under her skin.
She doesn't really love her job. She used to have ambitions of being a professional surfer, but having to take care of her grandparents crushed those dreams. In her mind she's over it, but it's clear to people close to her that it makes her really depressed.
She's neighbors with Justice. She used to babysit him when the two were kids, so she has an obvious soft spot for him.
