Physical description:
Her head is a plasma-ball, the glowing core and electric currents only showing when something organic touches it. Otherwise, it is always an opaque black-- sans the blue LED eyes and mouth. When visible, the currents connect to the facial features as well as the organic thing touching her. She can look in any direction, with her head held in place by a strong magnetic field. The top part of her mouth (as well as when it's closed) is always jagged tooth-like lines; the bottom curving into a smooth arc when open.
The blue parts of their body are made out of a semi-transparent gel substance that is incredibly flexible, but very difficult to damage. The outside layer is dense and impressionable, not unlike the feel of human flesh, while the inside is similar to soft silicone. Their fingers and claws are opaque, and are made of much strudier material- sharp at the tips. The green on their body glows and pulses, like a false heartbeat. When they "sleep", the glow dims and the pulses become less frequent.
She lost her right arm in a fight with a rogue robot, in defense of her creator. When the topic of her missing limb is brought to attention, or when she notices someone staring, it makes her a tad self concious and reasonably uncomfortable... she does her best to ignore it, unless she's around others who have also lost a limb. Or more.
Her legs are thin and nimble, with the bottom portions positioned on ball joints for as little resistance as possible. She can jump up to 20 feet in the air, leap the same, and run about 40 miles per hour. Her legs, along with the other black parts of her body (sans her head) are made from condensed carbon-fibre, and are far less flexible than her blue parts-- the choice of material causes her to weigh significantly more than her appearance would have you believe.
She always has 2 pairs of eyes above her mouth, and one below. Her top pair of eyes is happy or content by default, while the pair on the bottom is somber or depressed When she feels distressing emotions, her bottom pair of eyes will take the place of her happy middle pair, changing both the top and middle to match the change in mood.
History:
CAPTCHA came from a line of unique, highly advanced experimental companion robots. No two 'bots looked exactly the same, as they were tailored to each individual's desires/needs/aesthetics. It was a 50/50 split between animalistic and humanoid models. They could do simple household tasks, provide care to the disabled, or be a kind of "pet" for children. However, most were unstable and ended up breaking, malfuncting, or going rogue and turning on their owners... with gruesome results. Some lasted weeks, others months, while others still managed a few years each before eventually shutting down. Robots that were deemed unsafe were disposed of, or dismantled-- harmless models were left to rot in the factory of their creation.
Deciding she wasn't going to waste her possibly short life cooped up in a dark, musty old factory...
she set out to see the world beyond the walls, alongside an animal-model bot who she named Target.
