Nobody knows where Lune came from, or even how old they are; all they know is that Lune venerates Miriel, their patron and a Deva with very significant powers who serves the Moonmaiden, Selûne. The tattoo on Lune's chest is a magical one that Miriel engraved on their body.
They parade around as human, though it's unclear what they really are. They keep everything under significant wraps and just tries to exist in the moment. They'll gladly go off about Miriel though.
Their work as a courtier sends them across the lands to many places, including unsavory and magical places where most humans could only dream of going.
- Lune speaks five languages: common, celestial, undercommon, sylvan and dwarvish.
- Their arcane focus is the elegant quill with which they write.
- They love fancy and shiny accessories and wears extremely elaborate rings and earrings among other such things. They like to stand out.
While Lune isn't the dumbest person on earth, it'd be a stretch to call them smart. They'll happily follow along whatever Miriel says, no matter what. (they are down bad)
They're also chronically known for pulling stunts and pranks among other things just to be funny. It's kind of a problem. Though, it seems that beneath all that, Lune is hiding something truly remarkable.

Lune's patron and a Deva who travels the earth. She took an interest in Lune for... [redacted] reasons, but suffice it to say that she took an interest in their writing and wanted them to do so in service of her, and by extension, Selûne.
On a personal level, she's also quite fascinated with them and their seeming refusal to be anything but a menace. So why does she stick around? The fun outweighs the furstration. Every time.
- Lune has two color schemes. Why? That'll be for me to decide and for you to figure out, little man. The design concepts are "full moon" (main color scheme) and "new moon" (alt color scheme). They are meant to represent the colorful costume and the bleak, washed-out reality. But in truth, aren't they both beautiful?
- Lune wears a big cape that looks almost akin to a priest's robe on top of a loose shirt, a leather corset, tight pants and thigh-high boots. They have a tattoo that covers most of their torso. It's a magical tattoo (doesn't actually do anything), but it DOES remain and cannot be removed by any means. Lune is happy to have it that way.
- They wear a lot of jewelry, including a belt, leg harness, chains, earrings, and rings on both fingers. They also have a book and quill around, and the quill is their arcane focus for their spellcasting.
