DESCRIPTION

Helen grew up as a Minstrel for the court of the Eclipzull family. Her voice had the quirk of making others fall peacefully asleep so she was asked to come at night when the royal family was suffering from a lack of sleep. A lot of times she would end up staying late as Caesar would more often than not skip out on the songs to study up on some of his island's ancient history. Helen would visit the prince during his study sessions and recite poetry passed down to her by her ancestors. The Shibalm family had been around since the early days of Dark Island and passed on their knowledge and history through works of poetry, songs, and limericks. Helen was with Caesar when the pair learned about The Glory Seeker; an ancient force that had lived on this island for thousands of lifetimes. The Glory Seeker's history was tied with that of the corruton species. He was a guardian in ancient times, but had corrupted into something deadly and foul. His power tainted almost all of the island and if left to his own devices would spread across Personalia. Caesar tried to warn his father, but he did not listen nor did he care much to Caesar's fury. Helen suggested perhaps they stage a coup on the king and allow Caesar to take command. Her plans meant that Caesar would work againt the Glory Seeker in plain sight essentially. Luckily Caesar already had loyal allies he'd trust his own life with, and that included Helen. Helen graciously accepted her role and was essential for the coup's success. Using her singing she put the castle guards to sleep. Allowing Caesar and the others to slip in and finish the job. Once the coup was finished and Caesar made king, Helen became one of his generals. As general she thrived with her newfound authority and always served as an assertive partner to the cause. She would assist Caesar whichever way she could while also pushing him to go forward with some of his more sinister endeavors. When not working as a General she'd spend time in the castle's library where she wrote poems and limericks retelling Caesar's ascenscion to king and the dream to destroy The Glory Seeker and all that its power defiles.
