Tasked with killing Cazador by his patron in ten years

A former book dealer with a shop that he helps his family with. He was seduced by one of Cazador's spawn. He was turned into a vampire spawn by Cazador as part of the rite of profane ascension and given the scars. He was imprisoned for 20 years, until his patron offered him a pact. He accepted hastily, until he learnt of the actual terms of the pact: he would be free from Cazador's control and he and the other vampire spawn would not remember him, but he has to kill Cazador in five years. Now nearing the deadline of the pact, he still has not killed Cazador due being severely outmatched in terms of power compared to Cazador. He is growing desperate since he doesn't want to be imprisoned again.
