While they started their journey with relitively good intentions, they were quickly convinced to join Team Galactic, however this was more using the team as a means to an ends rather than truly aligning wtih their goal. This point of their life fully corrupted their moral code.

Early Life

As a child, Rin was rather withdrawn and anxious. They lived with their aunt and uncle in Solaceon town, as their parents had gone missing shortly after they were born. Despite this, they had a relatively happy childhood accompanied by their aunt's pokemon and eventually their own houndour. Their favourite place in town was the pokemon daycare, where they liked to try help out from time to time.

Setting out

Once they reached 10 years old, they travelled to sandgem town with their aunt and uncle to obtain their pokédex and trainer card. Although they had the opportunity to pick a regular starter, they chose to set out with their houndour instead. Their aunt gifted them a gogoat as a ride pokémon to get around the mountainous reigon more easily and to protect them from harm if needed. They gained two gym badges and caught three pokémon (a scorupi, staravia and a toxel they'd found abandoned by its original trainer) before they were coerced into joining Team Galactic.

Post-Galaxy

After leaving Team Galactic, Rin aided in breaking apart the few remaining members and worked to regain the trust of their professor. In acknowledgement of their efforts, they were gifted an eevee that turned out to be a disguised H.Zoroua, they completed some more badges for Sinnoh before moving to Unova, having gained an interest in the tao trio and making it their goal to catch them and impress thier aunt, after all that had happened. They're morally dubious at best but they try not to cause any real harm.

Rin made their team out of the pokémon they had the best bond with, they started their journey with their pet houndour which is still their partner now ashou ndoom. Toxapex is the newest addition to their team after trading their toxtricity for it, albeit reluctantly.

They gained some of their team through other trainers, they were gifted the zoroark disguised as an eevee by their professor and won their dragapult as a prize at a racetrack, having borrowed a champion garchomp to win, thanks to accidentally saving the trainer earlier that week.

Rin is also in possession of a Gogoat as a ride pokémon, which belongs to their aunt, it tends to stay out of its pokéball and acts as a protector for Rin when needed. Rin also uses gogoat as a getaway driver if an officer happens upon him stealing pokéballs or medicine out of other trainers' bags instead of buying them himself.
