A bumbling lord with a heart of gold, Falkner tries his best despite making himself look like a fool at times. He is naturally cheerful and optimistic and overall a confident and level headed leader. He takes the safety of his kingdom very seriously and works tirelessly as the leader of a mercenary group called The Aegis to protect his people from harm. For all his composure and leadership however the poor young prince is a bit of a buffoon, often accidentally making an idiot of himself; hitting himself in the face with his sword while training, tripping over pebbles while leading march, or leaving his drying underwear unpinned to blow away in the wind about camp. But don't let his clumsiness fool you, Falkner was raised with all the etiquette and schooling any crown prince should and has proven himself a true warrior and talented leader. However under that merry façade hides pain, uncertainty, and a burning rage. His very birth stirred controversy in the royal court, a half-blooded prince, and after the sudden disappearance of his birth mother, he was practically tossed aside in favor of his half brother Tybalt. Tensions escalated, assassination attempts on his life were made, eventually pushing Falkner to flee the palace and take up roaming his country of Celanis fulltime as a mercenary just trying to get by. However, his halfbrother Tybalt and his army are never more than a few steps behind, biting at his heels. And behind Tybalt looms his stepmother, Queen Mara, her cruel gaze taking in every drop of blood and violence from her place upon her stolen throne. Falkner has always been wary about her, something about her strikes him as.... off. But what? Just who exactly is she?

Is believed to have been forged from the talon of the Phoenix that gave up its immortal life for the human it loved, spawned the Flamesborn bloodline, and created the halidom of Celanis.
