About: Ashton comes from a family that once worked for a high status noble in Noxus. When he was younger, his family relocated to Shurima under the excuse of doing work for said noble, but in reality the move was just an excuse his father made to research the mysterious region known as The Void. Although Ashton didn't care much for it, his twin brother shared their father's excitement, often joining him in his studies of the mysterious force. The years passed and his father's research continued, joining the ranks of the some of the most renowned researchers of the Void in the region.
Ashton, after much insistence from his family, joined his father and brother's research team for a single expedition. Although the group insisted they back away, Ashton's brother and father paid them no mind, they were determined to get as close as possible for the sake of their research, before Ashton could stop them the three of them were pulled into the Void, Ashton barely managed to hold on to a ledge near the surface, hearing his father and brother's screams fade out as they were pulled in deeper into the Void. Before he had a chance to react, a void creature attacked him, Ashton managed to fight it off, but the damage was already done as the creature was able to attack part of his face.
Once he climbed his way back to the surface, he saw that most of the expedition team was gone, save for one of the scientists. The scientist saw Ashton's predicament and while uncertain of their own skill, they decided to help the void-touched, Ashton reluctantly agreed and so the scientist got to work as soon as they arrived back at their base. Weeks passed and they eventually found a way to contain the Void's corruption to a small area of Ashton's body thanks to an experimental eyepatch the scientist invented for him. After the procedure, Ashton's body began to recover quickly and once he was back on his feet he could notice how much the corruption had physically enhanced him
Shortly after his recovery, he thanked the scientist one last time before traveling back to Noxus, this time all by himself, to make a name for himself as a spy. Over the years he's worked for all sorts of clients of all different factions, as long as they can afford him, of course.
