Stars shine throughout their pelts, and their eyes are warm as they greet the new leader. Rosewhisker strides forward, an energy in his steps that wasn't present in his last moments. He gives a life for resilience. With a calm whisper that Vervainroot should keep her ambitions in check and not lose herself to greed, Rainspeck delivers a life for strength. Privetface steps in front of Vervainroot, a worried look crossing her features for a moment before she shakes her head. She presses her muzzle against Vervainroot's and gives a life for endurance. Plumnose remains stoic as she approaches the new leader and gifts a life for confidence. Another cat steps forward, his purr rumbling loudly. Thistlewing whispers words of encouragement as he gifts her a life for farsightedness. Haypad pads up to the new leader, softly touching his nose to Vervainroot's head. He gives a life for empathy. Badgerpelt walks up to Vervainroot, offering a life for unity. He smiles, and states that the Clan will do well under Vervainroot's leadership. Flintstorm steps forward to give the new leader a life for determiniation. Vervainroot grits her teeth as the life rushes into her. Finally, Pigeonstar steps forward. There is pride in his gaze as he stares into Vervainroot's eyes. He gives a life for tireless energy. Pigeonstar hails Vervainroot by her new name, Vervainstar, telling her that her old life is no more. She is granted guardianship of DuskClan, and is told to use her new power wisely. The group of starry cats yowls Vervainstar's name in support. She wakes up feeling a new strength within her body and knows that she is now ready to lead.
