P A S T

Ever since he was young, Chico has aspired to be a strong kitsune and assist others. He was born as a runt to two regular fox parents, half kit fox and half Japanese red fox, though he was eventually blessed with a coat of pink and blue upon earning his second tail. When he gained his magical powers, his young body was overwhelmed with the magic current and he succumbed over a long, gruesome period. However, the gods took pity on him and revived him, assigning him to his position as an angel who collects souls with his butcher knife and leads them to a better place (Even though he reaps with a butcher knife, it´s not actually that sharp and can only be used for collecting souls gently rather than actual cutting).

Currently, he possesses only three tails, but is working hard to get to his ninth.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Chico´s true personality lies behind a facade of eccentricity and wild excitement. He is playful and enjoys cracking jokes about almost everything, including himself. However, he is very sensitive to and in tune with the feelings of others and so he doesn´t enjoy making hurtful jokes. Chico´ś friendliness and boisterous personality leads some to believe he is faking it; although it is a facade, his sweetness is genuine and he prefers to be kind in order to prevent others from feeling the same sadness he feels on the inside.

Then it comes as a surprise to many that Chico, despite his outward expression, feels a deep sense of inferiority. He is upset that he (as a simple fox with no talents) was pitied enough to be revived, and firmly believes that some people that have died were vastly more deserving. He hates being pitied more than anything else, and he possesses a strong sense of justice, a great work ethic, and a commitment to making others' lives and deaths as happy as possible.
