Larka is a young Monster Hunter claimed by the exiled God, The Nothing. She is currently on the run from the Hunters alongside her small group of friends as they try to find and slay powerful God monsters called Grattascal. Larka is the main character in the Monster Hunter's story!
Larka can shift between her normal form and monster form at will, her monster form is about double her size in height. She can shot acidic like fire while in her monster form, this fire can weaken the Grattascal and monsters making them easy to kill. Her other power is her ability to speak to moths which can help guide her, she can also speak to The Nothing through the moths.
personality
Larka tries to see the best in everyone, which can lead to her seeming niave or stupid. She sees the world in black and white, beliving people can only be truely good or evil with little in between. Larka is stubborn and often belives her choices to be the right one, she is very hard to sway and defends her actions fiercely. She is bleedingly loyal and can be selfless at times, she belives she needs to help others no matter the cost, she will put her friends over herself time and time again.
She is kind of bitter, at least at first, due to being chased away from her future, her home, her friends and family. She resents The Nothing at first, but eventually she starts to see the bigger picture, she meets new people and is able to grow and learn. She will never stop trying to help, she does care about people and doesn't want to see anyone hurt, she is scared she may hurt someone someday.
backstory
Larka is a young Monster Hunter, formerly apart of Roe's Maara but has recently been exiled and is now being pursued by her former friends. During their ceremony in which one of the Eight Gods is suposed to claim a Hunter, Larka was claimed by the banished God, The Nothing. Since then she has been chased from the temple and dennounced as a Hunter, chased by her former Maara with orders to capture her. She has been tasked by The Nothing to slay the Grattascal, powerful God monsters created to slay the Gods.
She has since made friends to aid her in her task as she flees from the Hunters and faces off with the Grattascal, gaining the aid from the first Guardians of each God. There are nine Grattascal she must face before the sun turns black and the most powerful Grattascal, Ebonscal, can break free and plunge the world into chaos and destruction.

BURR
One of Larka's new friends, she met him by accident and since then he has looked out for both her, and the rest of their little gang.
IVY
Another one of Larka's friends, helped save her from humans and accompanied them on their journey in hopes of becoming a Monster Hunter one day.
PRIMROSE
The last member of Larka's little group, helped her escape from humans and accompanies the gang in hopes of finding her missing parents.
ROE
The leader of Larka's fomrer Marra, they were trained to fight together but since Larka's exile Roe and the rest of his Maara have been sent to hunt her down. She is bitter towards them but still cares.
JADE
Another member of Larka's former Maara, she prefers Jade's softer attitude over the others, at least he seems to still care about her.
KAI
Another member of her former Maara, lower on her list of favorites due to his brash nature, the two have always bickered alot, now its just more heated.
SHADOW
The last member of the Maara, Shadow and Larka used to gossip together all the time, now Larka is a bit bitter that Shadow replaced her with the bounty hunter Veil.
THE NOTHING
Larka has a complicated relation with the God, on one hand she resents him as everything that happened to her was his fault, but on the other hand she does want to help him, and belives he wants to change for the better.
