Escape from the inner core of the Canid State is a difficult prospect for anyone who hasn't grown up a member of their aristocratic oligarchy, and for Maddox it took more than a few unforgivable acts of which he will no longer speak. But for a man desperate to live his dream it was more than worth the struggle, having fled his lifelong home alongside his young wife Angel, to the more fertile and musically-inclined Federation of Mankind.
